About AMK

I’m Ashley! I’m a passionate educator with over 11 years of experience in the classroom, and I am excited to offer personalized tutoring services that help students achieve their full potential.

I grew up in beautiful Montana, where my love for learning and teaching began. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, I continued my education with a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. My dedication to teaching has also led me to become a National Board Certified Teacher—an accomplishment that reflects my commitment to providing the highest quality education to every student I work with.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children ranging from ages 5 to 11, and I’ve served in both classroom teaching roles and as an instructional coach. My experience has given me a deep understanding of how kids learn, and I know that each child has unique needs, strengths, and challenges. That’s why I use a data-driven, personalized approach to ensure every student gets the support they need to succeed.

In my personal life, I’m married with two wonderful kids. Recently, I decided to take a leave of absence from my school district in order to spend more time with my family and embrace a more flexible schedule. However, my love for teaching never went away, and I’m thrilled to continue my passion for working with children through tutoring. It allows me to connect with students one-on-one and make a direct impact on their learning, which is something I truly enjoy.

Through my tutoring services, I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where children can build confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve their academic goals. I believe every child can succeed, and I’m here to help them reach their full potential.

If you're looking for a dedicated, experienced tutor who understands the needs of young learners, I’d love to work with you and your child. Let’s create a personalized learning plan that ensures your child thrives!
